Well the energy is exchanged with you because you are open to it. All that energy wants is to be balanced. The sadness you feel is inherent within the global human consciousness at this time. It is a result of growth being restrained artificially in the species... Mankind is DYING! Only through spiritual enlightenment can they be healed..
Since you are in contact with the source within yourself you serve as a balance / healing factor on this planet..
the best thing I can tell you on how to personaly deal with these energies when they are flowing through your psychical vessel so to speak is...
The ability to FEEL these things is a GIFT.. even though it can be uncomfortable at times... the experience it provides to your soul or light body is allowing you to PERSONALY evolve in LEAPS and BOUNDS above other beings who are not SERVING in this fashion..
learn to LOVE the PAIN...

I know this, but when I try to tell people, they look at me blankly. There's an excellent book named "In the Dark Places of Wisdom." It does a great job of outlining the dark teacher of wisdom.
It's really good to have GLP here where wisdom exists, especially when you can't find it in the meat world. |

Empathy is NOT compassion. Empathy is feeling exactly what others are feeling. It is knowing what someone feels and feeling it yourself as a result, hopelessly. That is why DETACHMENT is absolutely critical to save your sanity.

Not sure why you'd find this funny, but they're correct, empathy and compassion are two different things. If you had empathy you'd FEEL what the other person felt. |

Empathy can move you to act compassionately. Empathy is the awareness and compassion is the 'desire' to act on your empathy.
If you detach from empathy you cannot feel what the other person is feeling so your response or actions may be well intended but they may not be what the person needs really wants or needs.
Empathy can be learned and tuned if you learn how to drop your own limiting filters of perception and learn to see, hear, feel and either figuratively or literally walk a mile in the other persons shoes. |

i think it matters how you are 'hooked into the world' -
if you are just doing your own thing and centered on that, it's hard to be 'part of everything else too'. and empathy is like being psychic, but more draining, envolved-it hits your heart.

Human empathy has always been around, its discovering/recognizing and utilizing it in practice that people have issues understanding.
All of these subjects of late, All you are doing is taking things that have been posted on this forum for the last 5 years and putting them into a thread as your ideas.
Kind of like posting the 'know yourself' thread, or something titled similar coming from MySpace. Then deleting the original thread and banning me for pointing it out. : /

You may have already begun to notice it. Maybe you and groups of your friends have even practiced it consciously by now.
Humans are like animals.. animals communicate via a form of telepathy known as EMPATHY... an empath FEELS EMOTION...
This form of communication is used all the time in your normal life but you may never have been CONSCIOUS of it before...
IT is this consciousness of your 6th sense so to speak that will begin to increase as the galaxy you live in rotates into another rung on the universal calender..
The vibration and consciousness of the entire galaxy is changing with you!
What the mayan calender really signifies is the rotation of the GALAXY in the universal horoscope so to speak..
Our calender is yet a cog in a much bigger wheel... The mayan calender shows the spokes in OUR galactic wheel... But that wheel rotates also...
We are coming to the end of ONE galactic cycle and entering another... No big deal really but hidden from the masses by their masters none the less
IT is a great time to be a human because you all get a chance to really COME INTO YOURSELVES as we move into a universal VS galactic orientation. Unfortunately the masses have not been allowed to know of your races true galactic contacts..
But the universal awakening will be known to all...

If you want to demonstrate this to yourself..
all you have to do is LISTEN..
go into a room with a few people and pay attention to the emotion you FEEL emanating from the people around you..
when you take action, when you speak, whenever you do ANYTHING to upset the energy in the room with people THEY WILL REACT in their emotional body and you can sense it with your empathy..
IF you follow this and practice it..
IF you get to KNOW your own empathic abilities..
you can eventually fine tune this into smaller and smaller levels to the point even that you can sense their thoughts in a coherent manner..
I find it funny that humans (being the most evolved species on the planet) have some how lost touch with their most BASIC of abilities and instincts...
You will need these old inbreed senses to help you in the coming times...

Guys If you don't think this is real... Then it will be very hard for you in the coming years. One of my friends can feel words... And he will not accept what's going on.. I told him how I broke my are when I was little and he went outside on the ground and laid down... then he got in his car and left... 3 days later he said.. "All you said was I broke my are when I was little" And I felt it.... it made me sick. My kids have been dong this from birth. I use to do this when I was little but when I got put in school it shut off. Now it's back, And it is wicked strong. I feel like a magnet over my head. |

Trinity this is a serious questions. I am an empath and feel emotions not directly connected to me. Like random breaks of sadness and joy. Sometimes i can connect where it originates and sometimes i can not. my questions are:
first why me?
what do i do with this be it sadness or even happiness, energy?
i continue to try and help those around me. always. but when i feel a deep feeling of sadness for which i find to originate far from me.. what can i do?

I actually agree with you on this one Trinity.
I think we will see a general increase in empathy as people begin to center and realize that all is equal, and that beauty truly is, only, in the eye of the beholder. |

Empathy and Psychosis ar not bed mates. A person showing empathy and advanced empathy to a psychotic person, is like waving a red flag at a bull. The "procceses" that both are going through as they interact are akin to petrol and match. Both will see each other as a challange, with an inevitable outcome of conflict. There are more effective ways of dealing with psychosis on a day to day basis.
