I own a 12 gauge, and have shot a friend's AR-15. You're exactly right. The AR is far less noisy and recoil-y than the shotgun.

To anyone who has ever fired an AR, that exerpt is a hyper exaggerated, total lie. The AR is one of the smoothest, easiest rifles to shoot.

Of FFS. God help that poor pussified little boy if he ever shouldered a 50 year old hunting rifle or 100 year old double barreled 12 gauge shotgun. The first trigger squeeze would tear his limp dick right off his mangina.
