VIENNA-- The second set of legal proceedings (against Irving) at the
state attorney's office was not taken into account.

The Israelitische Kultusgemeinde regrets the judgment by the appellate
court presided by Judge Ernst Maurer.

Neither is it true, as the court has implied, that we are dealing with
an offense "commited a long time ago", nor with an accused of "blameless
conduct up to now", but with a particularly conspicuous "icon of the
Nazi-scene".

Right after the Holocaust denier conference in Teheran this has sent the
wrong signal and his ignored the principle of prevention.

The IKG proposes the issue of a new arrest warrant in view of the second
proceeding at the state attorney's office in Vienna.
