If you take orders from someone, you are that person's slave

in the moment that you comply.
If you continue to take these orders, you will become accustomed to the psychological conditions common to slavery.
And then you will think nothing of dishing out the same treatment to others, because at some point you will feel the need to regain the personal power you lost from taking all those orders.
Thus the cycle continues.
