Wunderground is lying big about the temperature

I am extremely convinced that outlets like the Weather Channel are just another propaganda arm of the elites and global warming fanatics. The Weather Channel's website is like weather fear porn non stop. Especially when talking about Florida...they are so full of shit sometimes to those of us who live down here.

WU is always way too high.

But this is something new.

To say that the local temperature is 12 degrees higher than it really is! That's incredible!

But I bet most won't question it. Their minds will tell them it is hot when it's not!

How much higher?

I've noticed this as well, their 90's predictions for Va have been way off by nearly 20 degrees

There stations are run by ordinary people who purchase equipment to join the system. If they have placed their thermometers in a bad location you can see this.

One near me yesterday posted 112 degrees for example but the others did not.

I've noticed some big discrepancies in my area too, but I think it has to do with the particular weather stations.

Those stations are owned by individuals, not WU. Each one is different and set up separately. Some could be in a proper place to get accurate readings, and some may be set up, say, near blacktop. Asphalt gets hot and would skew the readings.

The thing that bothers me about WU is that they edit their readings from the day before. For instance, I have watched where a local station is reading a high of 100* in real time, but WU will alter it overnight to to read the high for the day was 95*.

Maybe it's an average of the stations in the area for the previous day. I don't know. I don't like it though.
