Just Returned Home From Shopping...

I haven't been to the big 'town' in a few months actually.

Many of our needs were met by ordering online and delivered to the home..

but we needed garden and yard items...

so I left at noon today, a Wednesday, the traffic was slim, ppl were not out, felt kind of odd during the 30 mile drive.


Beautiful day, sunshine. low '70's, big wind. I've shopped before in the mid week, but where were all the ppl today?

Very thin. Everywhere I went it was almost like it was a holiday..., late June... where were the teens?

Strange.

Anyhow it felt great to be out, and mostly to see Americans working at the stores... Cleveland doesn't rock where we live.

I tried tipping a very nice young man working at a dollar store for loading my canned goods in boxes and putting them in the car... He would not accept it - against company policy - which to me is bullshit since he went above and beyond!

And thank you to the gentleman working at the home center for loading some heavy paving bricks... excellent service!



All in all, a great day after watching Trumps killary speech ...
