Most of you probably don't want a Great Wall Of Text here, but a little background info, particularly for international visitors here.....

Cliven Bundy was one of about 65 ranchers grazing land in an area of southern Nevada "administered" by the (federal) Bureau of Land Management. In 2014, Congressional hearings, led by Representatiove Doug LaMalfa of California, exposed abuses and what many would consider crimes, committed by the BLM against citizens. This sort of arrogant and even extortyionate behaviour had, by that year, put ALL the ranchers in this areaout of the cattle business. Bundy remained in business by refusing to pay the BLM's grazing fees ordered by an administrative judge (legal point here). But he did speand over $600,000 improving the range area.

While the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper and its readers generally took a mocking, even insulting tone towards Bundy, others alleged Agenda 21 factors as "dirty Harry" Senator Reid wanted Bundy's remaining land holdings to complete a deal with communist China for their intended developments there.

The rest has become history. BLM movbed in to seize Bundy's cattle, militia and other citizen groups came to his aid, and the resulting highly-publicised confrontation was seen around the world. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

More to say, but those like myself saw this and - with prior experience involving the Feds - we knew that, having backed down eventually at this event, they would come back towards Bundy's supporters later, usually in underhanded ways. And that is exactly what they did. If anyone is interested, I'll add some further commentary here. It's relevant, because we are to believe at this thread that a 57 year old man really wanted to blow up a BLM facility - and was not agitated by the FBI into this, and provided (as is obvious!) with the means to do so.

How long are we going to put up with this crap?
