If the UK did the same and said that all immigrant men of fighting age must do at least 2 or 3 years in the military to earn entry into Britain, the refugee camps in Calais would empty overnight.

The main reason there is so many refugees is because the gates of Europe are open. If they were close, Syrians would have to fight. Funny thing is why Syrians just go to other muslim countries like Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, etc. They are clearly after the free ride...

When Poland was invaded in WW 2 our whole military, politicians and millions of civilians fleed to western Europe and everybody see nothing wrong with that decision but when other people escape war and destruction that is somhow bad ?
