Damn girl, sounds really scary and intense. I have tried astral projection in the past but I didn't feel like I wanted to continue to try. I think I was fairly successful at it but it's just not for me. At least it wasn't at that time. I sometimes wonder if it's happening in my sleep or something because there has been the odd time that I have woken up with that same kind of jolt/slammed feeling, heart pounding/trembling etc.

I did accidentally leave my body as a teenager once -- I was 15. I love the night sky and was sitting outside with a group of friends. I have never had a negative experience like those here describe out there. Yes you meet some interesting beings, not all are unicorns and rainbows, but LJS is a kick-ass woman and can hold her own no doubt. Part of its success requires the lack of fear, important not to fear or be afraid of it because it requires a letting go of sorts. We all have our own opinions, my point is just to say fear is best left a word and nary a thought for the astral.
