Mandela effect was designed to rewrite and obfuscate history. To show incongruencies in people's minds in history which would cause the younger generation to ignore history recollections as inconsistent and focus on the now. Which would give them a chance to rewrite it all together for the generation after this youngest one.

Then this consolidation started happening. Likely it was happening before of course but was not realized yet.

I know it seems like Mandela would be the method used to hide these changes in our realities but keep in mind it is not needed to explain anything.

But first off.....so we are consciousness assuming physical avatars essentially... do we also exist in these alternate timelines right next to or mixing with ours or are we anchored in "this" one with wisps of ourselves in others...like some may have little bits of their consciousness in "x" amount of layers, while others are almost or are fully concentrated in one?

I guess that you may consider "deja-vu" a sort of glitch but the ones i was thinking of were more related to the coffee scene (because i prefer to keep a distinction between these two kind of temporal anomalies - deja-vu is sort of a twin memory frame rather than a glitch per se).

I am more interested in why do you think they occur (technically speaking/explaining) rather than define them.
In my understanding is not that reality doesn't know where to put the "coffee" during the slip but is rather a matter of a frequency pitch and memory clusters at play.

I am grateful for any other detail you may add (taking in consideration your experience with different time lines and their movements).
