Can't understand a word he's saying. We already have plenty of those ugly pieces of crap in Oklahoma thanks to tax credits for the wealthy. Make a smaller version that can go in our backyard and take us off the grid, then we can talk!

I believe they have solar panels for that sort of thing...

Wind turbines are huge and not practical this one seems ok to me.

I've run my entire home off of solar and wind turbines for over 7 years now. The shit works.

I am not a slave to the power company. And when the local grid goes down because some drunk hits a telephone pole I don't even notice.

Yeah but isn't that going to be a problem when a major black out occurs?

See your lights will be the only ones visible when it's pitch black out there...

Re: New efficient wind turbine prototype - video!
Nice if you want to run some remote factory or industry. But centralized power generation is not the best option for the people. The people should have a small turbine on their own land, enough to run their house and sell a bit extra to the grid. Job done, you have the power. Instead they will build gigantic turbines in a guarded area, and then sell you the electricity at a high price forever.

What we need is De-centralization.

A wind turbine that would fit in your back yard while at the same time generating enough energy for all your needs.

That's probably not feesable.

But then again I know nothing about generators. Plus you have to consider that most of the days there is practicaly no wind unless you live in specific area's.

Must have been the cats meow of wind turbines since the inventor took down the video.

So did the PTB get to him or is the turbine a piece of crap.
