Paul made a distinction when he said he was chosen because he was IGNORANT.

Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1 Timothy 1:13

There are some who are ignorant of the bible and believe. (DANGEROUS)
There are some who are NOT ignorant of the bible and believe. (MORE SAFE)
There are some who are ignorant of the bible and DON'T believe. (DANGEROUS)
There are some who are NOT ignorant of the bible and DON'T believe. (DANGEROUS)

Paul was ignorant of the Truth and did not believe it. How can you disbelieve something you don't even know about? Paul's ears were closed off to any new information, that "if it wasn't a Jew it wasn't true." And yet, being Jewish, Paul denied the truth in Jesus because he found comfort in the way he believed the Tanakh. If something were to change that he would lose his intellectual comfort.

It just now struck me the possibility that Satan will use his sorcerers to lift people (devoid of the Holy Spirit) into the air throughout the world and cause them to vanish thus achieving a false rapture.
