BTW, nowhere in the Bible is it written that they were Earth days. They could have been galactic days, Jupiter days, etc... It's symbolic. It's the basis for the invention of our 7 day calendar, and the instauration of the Sabbath on the 7th day.

I believe in what the Bible says, but in some cases I think some things are meant to be taken symbolically. I see the creation of the Universe decribed in Genesis as a beautiful story, not a scientific essay. It doesn't diminish my faith to think so. It is meant to be read with a child's heart. Our minds will never be large enough to understand the mechanics of the Universe. It is impossible to put down in writing, our research in particle physics and quantum mechanics proves just how infinite the knowledge is. So the story of creation in Genesis is like a love letter to humanity, a guiding light for the instauration and justification of the 7 day week.
