It is a good question OP, sorry no one took it seriously. I don't know the answer. Mary didn't recognize Jesus at the tomb until he revealed himself to her and she knew him as a friend. Thomas had to touch the wounds in his hands/wrists. I have to trust that if I am to be saved, Jesus will find me. It is written that He will return as He left and will come down from heaven in a cloud and will bring a great army with him.

Hopefully, someone who knows scripture better than myself will have a better answer for you.

I don't know that I would ask Him a question. When we are raised up, we will be made pure in Him. We will be changed to be like Him. Our demons will be cast out and we will have a new understanding. I am a sinner in this life just passing time here until I am changed into a being that is pleasing to the Father. Surely, once we are changed we will then know He the Christ?

I had a dream once. God held me in his hand and asked if I would like to see my life. I saw the horrible things that I did. I said over and over, no, surely I would not do these horrible things. I looked at Him as tears rolled down His cheeks and told Him how sorry I was that I hurt Him. He said to me, I am not crying because you hurt me, I am crying for you, that you were hurt by these things.

When your eyes are opened, you will fall to your knees in grieve and shame. All He wants is your love.

I feel as if i would know Jesus by his words and the things he said. The reason is because i have read most of the Bible and Jesus Words over and over and when you do this you begin to know his personality and his attributes. Jesus says in a verse in the Bible... My sheep know my voice and they hear me. Jesus has a way about him and once you read his words...you feel more like you know him and understand him. I would know him simply by what he says or doesnt say.
