not luck. I just loathe people for the most part.
Ive designed my life to avoid them every way i can.
I drive Az from A to B in the middle of nowhere.
The people i work with respect me enough to wave me off and leave me be.
I take every winter off , the solitude is a nice break.

People today are not fun to be around.

Cheers, OP. I also take the Winter off and spend it much in isolation at the beach.

I had one stretch where I was alone for near a month. Weeks are common.

I like people, but like social energy bar in the Sims, I get enough of people quite quickly and return to solitude.

Words to live by...we too live in the same manner.

We avoid other humans religiously. All we encounter are brainwashed, programmed humanoid vessels, unable or perhaps unwilling to convey any semblance of truth-in-fact.

While I liveth as the hermit and detest my fellow man on an individual basis, I am none the less bound to assist humanity as a whole.

I don't care what you think for your thoughts are irrelevant to my existence.
As for my purpose, only God knows...

Never once do i get lonely.

People drain me mentally and physically.

I need solitude to recharge.

I have all the interaction i can handle on the internet, it helps cut down on face to face too.

This little modicum of contact probably keeps you
partially sane. From your replies though, that is
questionable enough.

"People suck, im awesome!" Is quite a brash statement
to make on the behalf of many people.

You probably need to be more secluded because you
are a strange person and your coworkers dont want
to interact with you, or others for that matter.

I could be wrong though, i dont actually know you.

By having an attitude like that, OP, the gift of having an isolated cabin away from the multitudes is going to go to waste.

You have a perfect opportunity to spend your life cultivating compassion for all sentient beings (or at least for exiting the monotonous wheel of existence, after some solid practice) in secluded meditation retreat; an opportunity that many meditators in this world don't have but would love to have.
