That's what uninformed people believe. I am extremely peaceful. I'll walk away from trouble if I am allowed to walk away. If I'm not allowed to walk away, it's going to get real bad, real quick.

Peaceful non-compliance is a great tactic. I have guns just in case the govt won't accept peace as an option.

THROW AWAY SOCIETY. THE GREEDY AND THOSE WHO MOCK THE POOR OR DISADVANTAGED ARE BEYOND REPROACH!

Let God sort em out.
 Quoting: Vespertopia 35347194

Not many people mock the disadvantaged in the very liberal, socialistic times we live in. A time when political correctness is the new religion.

That's very much the case in countries where libtards have been running things for a long time. Nations like Obummer's USA or socialistic Brazil or much of Europe.

The great divide is not only no better in such places, it's worse than ever before. Places that are getting so shitty, growing numbers of people have to line up to buy toilet paper while worrying about being a victim of robbery or burglary.

So awhile back the dentist tells me I need $1200 worth of dental work. Not a problem, I'm a minimalist. No cable tv, no stereo, no xbox, no iphone, no icrap. But cash for dental work? Not a problem.

Besides...them fat cats all own Apple stock.

And for the slave class to pay someone millions to play with a ball? You gotta be nuts.

Re: Long-term unemployment is rising to record levels
The system is choking on greed. Buy-to-Let landlords have dashed the hopes of many people wanting to own their home. So why work to pay some scumbag psychopath landlord? The vulgarity and greed of the Middle Classes is totally out of control, thanks to the banks. Total cultural subversion, to create a new class of rootless serfs.

I know someone that has a bunch of pokey flats above his shop. In the garage he has a Bentley. That's where their rent went, and if they can't work, they are out on the street.

The worker is being denied the fruits of his labour, and is spat on for his effort by the chattering classes.

Our society is too corrupt to function.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61566465

I do believe, we found another subversive agent. The "Middle Class"? It is the upper class, doing this to the West.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72512236

Yes, a subversive or an absolute idiot. When the renters can't pay the rent, the Landlord still has to pay the taxes, the utilities, and the repairs.

Loss of control of trade or of mobility of people across borders eventually means death for a nation. The Banksters have achieved control of all Western borders. Anyone who blames the middle class is an idiot or a subversive, as you correctly point out.

Re: Long-term unemployment is rising to record levels
The percentage of the unemployed who have been out of work for more than six months is still approximately one in four job seekers—levels unseen in the United States since the nation’s worst previous recession in the early 1980s.

The long-term unemployed are five times more likely to be living in poverty than employed individuals. Further, there is evidence that even when the long-term unemployed do find new jobs, they often earn far less than they were earning previously, and take a step down the career ladder.

GET SAVED: Thread: Are you SAVED from DAMNATION?

"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." -- Galatians 5:14-26

Re: Long-term unemployment is rising to record levels
The REAL USA unemployment rate is closer to 25%, if one were to utilize the statistical method prior utilized vs. the "politically correct" one in use for some time now.

it is "FREE TRADE" [not "FAIR TRADE"] that has largely gotten us to where we are ...

Anecdotally, if I were to start a new manufacturing plant to design and manufacture adult bicycles, after calculating all of the Federal and State required fees, payments, and entitlements therein for personnel, and the required corporate permits, taxes, and other fees as well as plant and equipment overhead, I would need charge a minimum of $200 wholesale per bicycle. Wherein, then, the retailer would typically need charge $300 to $400 to earn his own overhead and make a profit. Sounds reasonable, wherein basis a then made in USA two-wheeler Schwinn, in 1961, would cost, at retail, no more than $85. Same $85 today would equate to $683 in USD purchasing power.

Re above, how can one possibly go into such a business when a near to equal quality bicycle, here we will assume a 26 inch touring bike, sell for as low as $80 at Walmart? All, of course, manufactured non-USA. Saying that, with wages and benefits such a large portion of manufacturing overhead, few to no USA based manufacturers can compete with foreign labor "willing to live in a cardboard box in their parking lot, and with many laborers also under age of 12, without a living wage or benefits."

Want to pay or earn a living wage? Read this [drill down to your city or town] and weep.

This is true. Over half the 325M Americans do not have a job, though of course this includes the old, young and infirm. So with over 50% of the population without a job, somewhere around 25-30% of those are working age, capable persons.

And one of the biggest factors are trade agreements and the absolute collapse of American manufacturing. There's a reason the U.S. Was considered the "sleeping giant" at the beginning of WWII. We were the worlds premiere manufacturing country. Between 1939-1945 we averaged production of 137 fighting aircraft built per DAY! By the end of the war we had averaged production of 1 large naval warship per day.
All this while a large portion of the prime working age men off fighting in the war.

By the end of the war the U.S. Emerged as the most industrial country in the world by a long shot, controlling nearly half the worlds economy. Now look at us, and look at what's missing.

In my mind it's all a shame, consider where we would be if we had poured all the resources the world has spent on war over the last century into a combined space program. I get it, too many different ideologies, cultural, religious and political for that to have been practical. But just think. All this leads me to play devils advocate with myself all the time. On the one hand I am staunchly against TPTB and their globalization. On the other hand I realize that it's the only course we have for species survival at current population growth rates and other potential downfalls like a space based ELE.

If we survive long enough, then eventually we will have something out of an Iain Banks Culture novel where nano printers can capture raw materials from space (like the asteroid belt) and produce and goods any person wants, and the need for money will be completely erased. Hopefully we make it long enough to open up the great frontier of space. A mere 300 years ago and less there were many parts of the world yet to be discovered by the adventurous types. Today there's not a square inch of the planet that's not mapped and known. The whole concept of exploring which has been in our DNA from the beginning has quickly drawn to a halt until or if we can become space explorers. But to make this a reality we have to stop fighting amongst ourselves.

That won't help if growing numbers of Americans buy into a socialistic, liberal way of life, as most Europeans and south Americans have been doing.

Add to that the arrival of millions of unskilled immigrants, who spawn generations of failure and make the US more and more socialistic, and you have the makings of a major wasteland.

Re: Long-term unemployment is rising to record levels
The only time in U.S. history when it was worse was of course the "great depression". We're way beyond that.

And I get sick of seeing the bullshit numbers the gov and most of the media outlets put out. They constantly warn of recession when in fact we're in a deep depression. One that cannot be recovered from. Which is the intent.

Cloward and Piven statagy anyone? Engineered collapse. Controlled demolition. Doom is fucking on.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71083330

At least during the "great depression" a large portion of the population was still in small rural settings where they could raise, forage or barter most of the food that they needed. They could get by and live a rough life, but at least they could live.

Those in the city were hit harder at the base needs levels because they needed money to buy their basic needs.

Since I firmly believe the powers that be are behind this current depression, it is my humble opinion that they are trying to break and destroy the middle class and force the vast majority of people to become serfs in the elites future feudal kingdoms.

It is only going to get worse. Wait until the machines come in, in force and replace 60-70% of all jobs ...

Re: Long-term unemployment is rising to record levels
The Bureau of Labor Statistics' much-followed unemployment rate only tracks individuals who don't have a job and have actively looked for work in the last four weeks. So although the rate moved down in May, several analysts think this was because many Americans simply stopped looking for work.

"On the surface, a decline in the unemployment rate suggests improvement in hiring as more of the unemployed are put back to work," Lindsey Piegza, chief economist at Stifel Fixed Income, wrote in a research note last week. "This time, however, the decline in the unemployment rate was the result of hundreds of thousands of Americans dropping out of the labor force rather than finding gainful employment."

To her point, the total number of Americans not counted in the labor force – some of whom are retired or in school, but others of whom likely have given up on trying to land a job – climbed by more than 660,000 last month to roughly 94.7 million.

A new Harris Poll helps shed some harsh light on the scope of long-term unemployment in the U.S. About 51 percent of more than 1,500 unemployed respondents hadn't been involved in a job interview since 2014 – meaning they likely wouldn't be captured in monthly unemployment statistics.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71216354

The labor force does not count those who have turned their ow n houses into "boarding houses" who live in them and renting out rooms, most are slummy and over crowded inside. The renters work in labor force counted minimum wage jobs. So the out of work home "owner" technically has a job now. People are selling items on eBay, Craigslist, cleaning houses, babysitting in their own homes, are nanny's, hair dressers, massage therapists, drug dealers, prostitutes, in bad relationships such as the live in gf to a control freak male who carries them on their arm like a trophy but for show but doesnt honor her with the respect of marriage or as a genuine friend, all under the table. Most of these people, more than most are in extreme poverty but being propped up for lack of a better word. People won't say anything because of rhe stigma attached to money. When people have a poor dirtbag who can generate an amount of income to barely get them by able to weild control over those who can't get by without submitting to the poor dirtbag who can, it ruins status and forms extremely messed up communities. A problem is those going through this are smart and not dumbed down, but they do what they have to do being ignored or rejected by reputable companies and snooty Kardashian type families that abuse and spend money recklessly because it fancies them. What is gping on is worse than the 80's.
