How much is the suns rising position supposed to change every day?
Okay, just curious here. My room has a window that faces the sun when it rises. Now I know the sun rises in different places as the year progresses; however, I'm not sure how much the position of its rise is supposed to change. 2 weeks ago is was rising behind a tree (I know because the sun wakes me up every morning at roughly the same time) and was hidden from view by the leaves. This tree is huge and the leaves make it hard to see. However, now it is rising 3-4 sun diameters away making the sun easily visible and unobscured. Does the sun normally move this much in its rise within 2 weeks? I've never noticed before now...

Get right with Jesus Christ. When the Lord destroys the earth, it will be by fire this time.

The sun is fiery.

It is meant to move in the other direction.

Yes the suns daily position moves a good amount and moves faster via your daily perspective if you are closer to the poles then the equator.

You can check it on a gnomon: maybe also in your city there's an old clock with it where you can see with your own eyes that nothing is changed since centuries tounge

You also can build one by yourself and check that the ancient math formula a=arctg(h/b)is still valid cool2
