Do you get paid for being a shill?

Seriously? Do you?

I think I could be a good shill. I could go on all those discussion boards where people seem to have confidence in government or the media and shill away.

Only, I don't think I'd like the deceptive part of shilling where you pretend NOT to be a shill when you really are. Maybe I could be an up-front shill and tell people I was getting paid to shill, but explain it was because of my true personal convictions. That would make it more ethical, I think.
