Melatonin Cocktail

Take at night (just before going to bed) to help increase natural production of melatonin.

. 100 mg vitamin B-3 niacinamide
. 1,000 mg. calcium
. 500 mg. magnesium

Take in the morning (upon awaking):
. 25-50 mg. vitamin B-6 pyridoxine

"Melatonin" by Russel J. Reiter, Ph.D., and Jo Robinson pg. 261.

Melatonin is a hormone of the pineal gland, also produced by extra-pineal tissues, that lightens skin color in amphibians by reversing the darkening effect of MSH (Melanotropin hormone). Melatonin has been postulated as the mediator of photic-induced antigonadotrophic activity in photoperiodic mammals and has also been shown to be involved in thermoregulation in some ectotherms and in affecting locomotor activity rhythms in sparrows.

Melatonin is one of the most versatile and potent substances in the body, a principal player in the maintenance of health and well-being in all stages of life. Not only does this amazing hormone counteract stress, fight off viruses and bacteria, improve the quality of sleep, minimize the symptoms of jet lag, and regulate biological rhythms, it may even help protect against cancer, reduce the risk of heart disease, and play a role in determining how long we live.

Melatonin has little or no toxicity. It has been shown through various studies to be an extremely safe, nontoxic, and nonaddictive hormone.

Electrical polution: ELF (50hz) motor function effected. Melatonin may be in stress.

High intensity lighting or motors or electrical clocks, anything creating a electromagetic field placed too close to the head (within 3 feet) for an extended time may effect the pineal gland, which in turn will effect blood calcium and the body's internal clocks and melatonin production.

"Cross Currents" pg 256.

One of four major neurotransmitters found in the brain (tryptamine, serotonin, melatonin, and indolamine) which are created from the amino acid tryptophan.

Pineal and Pituitary: These two tiny glands are located in the midbrain, and their secretions regulate most of the body's basic functions and biorhythms, including immunity. Especially important for immune functions is the growth hormone secreted by the pituitary.

"The Complete Book of Chinese Health & Healing" by Daniel Reid

The pineal gland (3rd Eye) is a light-sensitive organ which requires stimulation from electromagnetic impulses from the optic nerves. Sunlight enters the eye and triggers retinal nerve impulses which travel to the pineal gland. From there, the resulting nerve impulses from the pineal gland are fed to the hypothalamus and pituitary, which control, mediate or affect many of the vital functions of the body. Additionally, only the pineal gland makes melatonin from serotonin, a process which operates strictly according to day-night cycles. Melatonin formation is stopped by light and proceeds in darkness. So, we find the pineal gland, because of its sensitivity to light, has a profound effect on the biorhythms of the body. It is a kind of biological clock that affects the timing of certain physiological functions.

Melatonin works together with tryptophan in the brain to regulate the sleep/wake cycle. We find that alpha is the healing state of conscious, awakened mind, while sleep interspersed with vivid dreams is known to be a wonderful restorative. The pineal gland, in other words, may be called the "peace gland" because of its biochemical role in rest, relaxation, and healing.

"The Chemistry of Man" by Dr. Bernard Jensen, Ph.D. pg 26 - 1983

It was posted sometime ago how DMT is the spirit molecule, giving one knowingness to become their own guru, as well as giving incredible night time dream activity in vivid color. As per As per [link to www.godlikeproductions.com] , DMT is synthesized as

Tryptophan -+- Serotonin (day) -> Melatonin (night) -> DMT
Vit B-3 ---/

Conspiratorial thought? This may explain too why the EU has been attempting to limit sale of B-6 to smaller than 50mg quantities!

melatonin is released in our bodies after smoking marihuana 4000x more than normal. its function is to prepare organism to sleep time, lower blood pressure, slower heart beat, ..

i have read it few years ago, it is a great thing for other details too, cells in these areas of our brain are growing from nothing, it helps with treatening depression and anxiety. These are leatest findings.

True - Marijuana is a melatonin potentiator. Which is great if you have too much serotonin in the body and need to use it up.
One adverse affect of Marijuana for males is the shrinking of the testicles, and feminizing men.

There is a drug called 'Stablon' or chemically Tiapentine. It is a serotonin accelerator, similar to MDMA. As serotonin is the precursor to Melatonin, MDMA/Stablon use up excess amount that would become Melatonin.

I've read that ginger is a 5HT-antagonist. As I understand, this means serotonin is not uptaken, allows the pass-thru of to melatonin. This is shown by ginger being used as an anti-nausea supplement (high levels of serotonin cause nausea).

Interesting. Wonder if this cocktail would help melatonin production without the side-effects many of us get when TAKING melatonin supplements?

I took some melatonin supplements for a while, but had to stop because of the crazy dreams I kept having while taking the supplements. I would have these insane dreams - not bad dreams, just non-stop, running, chaotic dreams that left me feeling very exhausted when I woke up as if I had been running a marathon all night. Made me nuts.

I've tried the melatonin cocktail versus 3mg melatonin supplements. The melatonin cocktail gives the eyes this brightness and depth that is unbelievable. Similar to what people that abstain from going in the day get (eg: nighwatch guards).

Also no associated backlog of unused serotonin that never became melatonin due using 3mg melatonin supplements. High serotonin results in a dopey response.. Serotonin Syndrome.

In my opinion the melatonin cocktail is far superior way of obtaining the melatonin benefits with minimal side effects.

I suffered from insomnia for years until a friend introduced me to L-Theanine. Mood enhancer and anxiety reducer which promotes deep sleep and mild restorative dreaming...at least from my perspective. My opinion only on this, but L-Theanine saved me. Upon going to bed I would sleep a couple ofhours and then become a sort of schitzophrenic in the head, hundreds of conversations and thoughts all competing for space in my brain, begging to be noticed. I could never sleep. NOW I take one 30 min prior to bed and usually have to take one 4 hours later in the 3-4 am time period, but what happens is that now all the schitzo brain activity is being released in dreams. I feel amazingly different in the morning, as if I dumped a lot of trash during the night.

Green tea contains L-THEANINE. L-THEANINE is excellent for relaxation however drinking green tea provides massive amounts of fluoride. Not bad for your teeth, but very bad for your hearing. If you start hearing sounds like waves in your ears there is WAY too much fluoride in your system from green tea. Green tea tablets being one way around that, or straight L-THEANINE tabs.

Some have described the third eye opening to feel somewhat strange. At least different from the norm.

Melatonin is the chemical driving the third eye (pineal gland).

Melatonin Cocktail

Take at night (just before going to bed) to help increase natural production of melatonin.

. 100 mg vitamin B-3 niacinamide
. 1,000 mg. calcium
. 500 mg. magnesium

Take in the morning (upon awaking):
. 25-50 mg. vitamin B-6 pyridoxine

"Melatonin" by Russel J. Reiter, Ph.D., and Jo Robinson pg. 261.

Note: some users report this way of increasing melatonin doesn't affect users with serotonin-syndrome side effects when using tryptophan/5-htp/melatonin.

Conversion path:
Tryptophan / Vit-B3 (Niacinimide)-> Serotonin (day) -> Melatonin (night) -> DMT

Good info ref. Melatonin, IMO. Myself, have used it over a year now, for sleep. It works quite well, indeed, for that purpose.

As for the other benefits above listed, I was unaware of them, and appreciate the education.

I was wondering if taking melatonin pill form causes the pineal gland to shrink, because since that area of the brain is not producing melatonin on its own and depending on the dose one takes in pill form it would shrink it, cant find any info on the web about this though, any one have any info if such a thing is real?

Once you are about 45 years old your natural melatonin production suddenly drops by about 90%. So if you are 45 or over, 6mg of melatonin per night is great...I haven't tried the melatonin cocktail but nay well do. I have found the supplement to be excellent.

Another important aspect of taking melatonin is that you should aim for three hours of sleep before midnight, and after your first three hours of sleep you need another 6 hours sleeping in ABSOLUTE DARKNESS for the best effect.

The Pineal Gland is what enables our consciousness, it's where the soul connects to the physical body. Austistic children have "enlarged" pineal glands, meaning that they don't atrophy with age like normal adults. The more atrophied the pineal gland gets, the more seated our consciousness is within our 3D reality- the finely attenuated the consciousness becomes. It's crystaline so it works like a crystal radio attenuating the spirit to create consciousness.

I don't take the cocktail. I take a 3mg tablet of melatonin about 30 minutes before retiring. Just before I get into bed, and as soon as I get my first yawn from the first tablet, I take a second 3mg tablet of melatonin. I'm usually asleep in mere moments.

The first night I fell right to sleep and didn't
need my customary two advils for the RLS.

Last night I again did not have any RLS symptoms

Will continue this experiment. If I can at least
stop taking painkiller for the RLS that will be
a big blessing. Thanks, OP, for posting this!

The OP has a manic brain chemistry that makes it get pleasure or interest in things that have no usage

For instance, not even taking pure melatonin tablets has any usage, let alone taking more expensive combo of 3 supplements to increase it slightly, if any (no evidence, no proof)

what happens is that people get excited and feel pleasure from articles and bits that have zero usage and are worthless. their manic brain chemistry makes them feel excitement from useless non-sense things where there is no reason to be excited about

so actually seeing and reading threads like these is kind of sad, because it shows very prevalent mental delusions and low intelligence among a high number of people. its like im embarrassed for the OP and other people.

extremely bizarre and shows a brain malfunction and low intelligence
