Currently, they have free reign of the house, backyard and garage. I adore them, but am exhausted from all this cleaning. I'm considering keeping them in the backyard and garage only, but I don't want to be cruel. I put a ceiling fan and stand alone fan in the garage, but they don't seem to help at all- just move around hot air. We're in the central valley where temperatures creep into the 100's. Any advice?

Or get a cleaning lady once a week. But would you really banish your family members to the garage and outside after having them in the house their entire lives? Be loyal.

As it is, I have to vaccum more than once a day just to keep the house looking decent. I love my dogs. I wouldn't be neglecting them- I take them for walks every day and take them to the beach and lake often. I'm just looking for cheap solutions, and maybe to be called an asshole a few more times.
