The government has given billions of dollars to bailout corporations more than once. The money was backed by nothing and created out of thin air. Any American working 35hrs a week or more should have a minimum salary of 30k. This is very simple to do and will not cost the owners of companies paying the checks a dime. To start off the govt mails out cash cards to all people who made less than 30k the previous year. If they made 18k, they get 12k, if 24k, then 6k and so on. Do it once a year so as not to be a big hassle on a bunch of govt employees. Nobody harmed in the process. The money is going to be spent anyway and that just stimulates the economy a little anyway. Anyone who continues to go on tv or internet saying anything about not raising the minimum wage or government not having a say in it needs to STFU and stay out of it. If your middle class or above, this has nothing to do with you, so kindly mind your own business.
