Hey Op.

Are you feeling sorry for yourself?

Maybe you need to go and do youself real pain. Maybe the pain is just in your head?

Go and do a really thorough physical work-out. Do a serious weight session in the gym. Learn to feel realy pain, and de-sensitise yourself from this faux pain.

I'm being serious here and not a dick. It worked for me. And you sleep great after a serious work out too. And when you feel the burn/pain you know why and arent freaked out by it. Youll find you no longer feel that former faux pain.

It is your body yearning for you to do some activity.

If you're female, I wonder if it's connected to peri-menopause/menopause? I say that b/c you say it started 10 or so years ago.

Did you get your thyroid checked? (Seems like you would, but thought I'd ask).
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70676832

Not female, male, 37 years old. Thyroid test always comes back good.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13833012

Thanks. :)

Hey, I've had similar symptoms, and I can tell you a few things that helped:

- Siberian Eleuthero helped the fatigue, and the pain to a degree (only taken in the AM, can be stimulating). Nature's Way brand is what I take.

- Foam Rolling. Sounds crazy, but it works for me! I have some equipment I got from the local sporting goods store. Works a treat. Recently bought a Tiger Tail to add the my collection - good for when I when I want to roll whilst hanging out, ect. It just takes a few minutes.

- Theracane. Same concept as rolling, but gets to the trigger points, where knots are. Better to use lightly/little at first, then work up. I don't use it above my neck - I did that once, with enthusiasm, and it messed me up for a few days (think I pinched a nerve). Works quite well for me, otherwise.

- If I'm sitting a while, I'll get up and get some blood flowing. Just doing this and that, or even doing a quick walk or something like that.

- In line with the last tip, if I'm in front of a screen too long I find it depleting. Gotta take breaks to refresh body and mind.

Keep your B-12 and Vit.D topped up. I suffered a deficiency in both, and in reference to the B-12, specifically, it was really bad.

Keep looking to see what's going on, and all the best to you.

P.S. A small study found something like 40% of people, in that study, that were diagnosed with fibromyalgia, actually had neuropathy, iirc.

I forgot to mention that I am sick frequently especially with respiratory problems and that it takes me a long time to heal from injuries.

You definitely have autoimmune issues going on...I also have lupus, fibromyalgia and a long list of things and it really does sound like lupus to me. You can have lupus even if the blood work is normal, or you are male or you are white. You need to find a rheumatologist who will actually listen to you and help you. Praying you get some answers!! hf

Re: Can someone please help diagnose my medical problem, I hurt everywhere!
I have been having all over pain in my muscles, joints and bones, along with extreme fatigue. I sometimes get headaches and heart arrhythmia too.

The pain started about 10-14 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. I have seen 4 different doctors and a rheumatologist and no one can tell me what's going on.

I have been checked for R.A., Lupus, Lyme Disease etc. and they haven't found anything.

I have to have a wellness screening done every year through my job and the only thing they've found is high triglycerides, slightly elevated liver enzymes (been drinking heavy for the past few years), and low vitamin D. Everything else shows up normal.

The wellness screening does sometimes show a positive ANA test but not always. When the rheumatologist did the ANA test it came back negative so she wasn't concerned.

I have tried all sorts of supplements to help me feel better, (most of them I heard about on GLP) but nothing really helps much.

Please help me figure out what might be wrong so I know what to talk to the doctor about next time. I really want to keep working and taking care of my family and could use some help here, thanks!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13833012

If you are in pain and cannot get it stopped, you should see a doctor.

If it is an emergency, either get a ride to the emergency room or call for an ambulance.

To hurt and ache constantly is not normal and may suggest a more serious underlying condition.

I am not a doctor.

You should see a doctor as soon as possible.

Take care and get well my friend.

Yep...sounds like lupus and/or fibromyalgia...you NEED to get a definitive diagnosis...not to scare or worry you more, but lupus can attack your organs and be fatal if left untreated.

I am guessing that your liver is struggling. The symptoms are amplified because you are active and so processing more calories, which taxes your liver even more because you are simply revving your whole engine more. Recommend tapering alcohol, injesting as few synthetics as possible. After alcahol is cut out, if you don't sfind relief then get full blood work done.

For fibromyalgia, ask the rheumatologist to do the "point test"...if you have it, certain pressure points will hurt very bad just by touching them...for lupus, write down every single symptom you have and get them to listen. Do you get worn out just from taking a shower, ever get skin rashes or are you losing any hair?
