I just added it to my Amazon wish list to buy. That leaves me with 242.00 - what else should I get for my new puppy? (Golden Retriever by the way - name is going to be "Sam".) |

Whiskey*Tango User ID: 72181316 United States 07/17/2016 01:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Buy a kennel. There are kennel pet owners and "kennels are cruel" owners. I suggest kennel training to everyone I place a puppy with. If you work or leave your dog alone for any period of time, you need a kennel. Your dog would rather be caged than to have you mad at him for chewing the couch or leg off your table while your gone. I have 2 dogs I do not kennel as they are grown and responsible, 3 dogs are still kenneled and will go into their cage for naps on their own. You need a good quality dog food and flea meds. Fleas are horrible this year & I use front line plus regularly. I'm controlling the situation with capstar tabs and yard treatment but holy crap.....the fleas this year! |

Rescued dogs are usually much more loyal, because they understand that you saved them. The best way to imprint your new dog is to spend the first ten days with it non stop. Don't crate it, don't lock it up. Keep it right there beside you. Play play play. Take it to the areas it will be playing in and show it. Potty break about every two hours. |

Ive adopted over 4 great dogs from there. One who was a purebred rat terrier. (Poor baby was beaten for being high energy.) Just make sure you get a breed that is suitable for your life style. Do your homework on the breed your considering. And I know im gonna catch hell for this but I DONT suggest a pitbull for many reasons. One is liability and 2 they normally need a experianced dog owner. They can be great dogs, but if you dont have the right setting or training know how it can turn into a nightmare. Pitbulls make up most of the beeds at the shelter for a reason. That being said I wish you luck. Other items: Crate Blanket or pet bed Chewy toys Good quality food. Clicker Pooper scooper Water dish. |

Our own fight for the West does not begin on the battlefield — it begins with our minds, our wills, and our souls... Americans, Poles, and the nations of Europe value individual freedom and sovereignty. We must work together to counter forces, whether they come from inside or out, from the South or the East, that threaten over time to undermine these values and to erase the bonds of culture, faith and tradition that make us who we are. I am here today not just to visit an old ally, but to hold it up as an example for others who seek freedom and who wish to summon the courage and the will to defend our civilization." ~President Donald J Trump "...sometimes, you have to be a high-riding bitch to survive. Sometimes, being a bitch is all a woman has to hang onto." ~Vera Donovan "Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man-and give some back." ~Al Swearengen "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet." ~Mattis |
