I have spent many days researching it and what I have found is so shockingly obvious it's an insult to human intelligence. It's clever how they've scripted it from a screenwriter's point of view, but once you start tugging that first thread, it all unravels with little effort.

The biggest clue is the date on which the event happened.

Oscar's supposedly accidental shooting of his girlfriend of 3 months, the model/actress/star Reeva Steenkamp, took place on Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is February 14th. Now if you research that date in history, you find that Valentine's Day is a modern (twisted and adapted) version of the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, associated with a nearly identical festival of the Greeks called the Lykaia.

Lupercalia was a fertility festival celebrated over three days from February 13 to February 15. During this time, Roman men would dress up in goatskins in imitation of the Roman nature god Faunus - who is a direct equivalent of the Greek nature god Pan - and they would run through the town striking women with whips.

"Girls and young women would line up on their route to receive lashes from these whips. This was supposed to ensure fertility, prevent sterility in women and ease the pains of childbirth."

Not only was the figurative 'goat' sacrificed (Steenkamp), but the dog sacrifice is also present in the meta-narrative, retold in an emotionally charged news article mentioning how Oscar Pistorius once rode over a dog's hind legs and couldn't let it live the way he had lived - with no legs. So he shot the dog in the head.

The judge - ultimately, the only person who calls a verdict since South Africa has no jury system - is a black woman by the name of "Thokozile Masipa". Two things are interesting about this name. First, her surname "Masipa" literally means "Shit" in English. Funny... Second, look at the first few letters of the name, just as with Oscar/UZ. Thokozile is playing Thoth:
