I just hope it doesn't backfire on you, which could happen unfortunately, if the owner takes the other employees side. Question: does your company have an HR person? If so, you possibly should have gone that route instead. Having said all that, I've never met anyone in your office, and you know individual personalities better than someone whose never been there.
