Before you all jump to conclusions, here are the facts:

1. External power to base still cut, US portion running on internal generators

2. Turkish Government lifted no-fly zone over the base and the US has stated sorties have resumed against ISIS in northern Iraq

3. Turkish security forces searched and made arrests on the TURKISH portion of the base, US portion unaffected



Looks like the base is still more or less disfunctional, especially from a Turkish Airforce perspective, however US operations have returned to a more normalized state.

But there is ZERO evidence to suggest US soldiers are being held captive by the Turkish Military.

Got word back yesterday that a family friend who is with USAF is stationed at the base. Eating 1 meal per day and sleeping in a church on the base.

The weapons cannot be detonated to produce a nuclear blast without the correct authorization codes. Although it is rumored that Erdogs Israeli handlers may have the ability to circumvent this. in a worst case scenario they can be detonated by satellite signal in a non nuclear blast making that airbase a glowing no go zone for about 4 1/2 billion years.
