Where is God?

I don't ask the question out of ignorance or arrogance, but where is our heavenly Father?

It's been 2000 years and we haven't had a single word concerning the times we live in. We haven't had a prophet, a visionary, or an advocate sent for us. I know the scriptures fairly well, more than the average Christian, I've shared in many sufferings, but how much longer can God wait until He finally acts?

Father, what are you waiting for? Your church is ready, the wicked have grown up in wickedness. Are you going to separate the wheat from the chaff? What are you planning?

Every day people perish without hope, the world has gone mad with sin, and the people are without a prophet. There's no healings in Christ, no casting out of devils, no signs, just minor tribulation. And the concerning thing is, it's going to get a lot worse. What about your innocent children, will they perish at the hands of evildoers?

Are you going to save us or rescue us before the trial, or are we going to go through the fiery furnace? Why God, why have you been silent.

In my frustration I have sinned against you Father, I have blasphemed Your name and Your spirit, I'm least worthy to be called a son, but You still hold out hoping I'll come around. To what? I'm nothing, and yet my pride tells me something different.

Do not hide Your face from us Father, rescue us, do something. Please, do something. I can't live like this, not knowing where you are or what you're thinking. It's as if your spirit has gone silent in the world. Are you preparing something?

I can't believe he was a fraud. Not with how many ancient manuscript prophecies he fulfilled. Not with his promises for an afterlife. If there is a typical messiah figure to display the attributes of who God is, Jesus is it in my book.

I'm hurt that he hasn't acted yet, I don't know why. I sure hope His reason is good, I'm semi losing faith, I can't let that happen.
