The Place of Emotions in Buddhism

Emotions are generally regarded in the mind of the Buddhist as aspects of our personality that interfere with the development of a spiritual life, as unwholesome states ethically undesirable, and roadblocks to be cleared in the battleground between reason and emotion. In keeping with this perspective emotions are described as states of "agitation" or "imbalance."

Interesting theory. Question is, what looks cut up in pieces could mean in different times?
 Quoting: Fancypantz

Best to master. Not to remove. Anyone who has suffered from extreme depression can tell you what having no emotional affect, feels like. It is neither healthy nor balanced.

Who's to say who it could have contacted in the past?

FWIW, a healthy portion of the world believes 'God' talked to Moses through a burning bush.
 Quoting: Seer777

Depression is an emotional affect. Yeah, removing is like removing sensations or the mind or the body. What is the point in that? Master or awareness is how one doesn't loose them self by knowing them self especially with nontraditional abilities.

Through the biosphere huh, lol
 Quoting: Fancypantz

When/if depression gets to a certain point, there is no more emotion. You feel nothing. Like a robot. It can't even be forced and then becomes distressing because instead of 'feeling all the time'...you feel nothing.

Through the Web. All the myths and stories are collected here.
 Quoting: Seer777

Utah had or has one of the highest rates of depression and mental illness in the US. What I noticed when I went one time into their religious facility was everyone seemed like robots, that is how I likened them. They were all the same with no variety within that facility. So I assumed they all felt something similar which caused them to be all similar.

Tesla's diary contains explanations of his experiments concerning the ionosphere and the ground's telluric currents via transverse waves and longitudinal waves. He researched ways to transmit energy wirelessly over long distances (via transverse waves, to a lesser extent, and, more readily, longitudinal waves). He transmitted extremely low frequencies through the ground as well as between the earth's surface and the Kennelly–Heaviside layer. Tesla received U.S. Patent 645,576 for wireless transceivers that developed standing waves by this method. In his experiments, he made mathematical calculations and computations based on his experiments and discovered that the resonant frequency of the earth was approximately 8 hertz (Hz) (later confirmed by researchers in the 1950s—named the Schumann resonance). Tesla sent electrostatic forces through natural media across a conductor situated in the changing magnetic flux and transferred electrical energy to a wireless receiver

'Liquid Light' Can Bend Around Objects in a Frictionless Flow

For several centuries now, scientists have known that light behaves like a wave, expanding out from its source until absorbed or reflected by objects, which are in turn illuminated.

In recent years, however, research has indicated that light can also behave like a liquid — flowing around objects and reconstituting on the other side. Previously, this phenomenon has only been observed under certain extreme conditions, such as laboratory chambers chilled to near absolute zero.

New research published this week in the journal Nature Physics reveals that light can behave in an even stranger "superliquid" state, in which light particles flow around objects with no friction or viscosity at all. In this state, light exhibits the dramatic effect of "frictionless flow," bending around obstacles with no ripples or swirls whatsoever. Interestingly, this effect can be observed at room temperature and ambient pressure.

Good morning.

Not sure where I am going with this but wanted to leave a note. Static electricity and 'levitation' have been on my mind for a week now.

Did you make a post about the bubble bee levitating by beating its wings at the same resonate frequency of the Earth?

Indigenous explain centripedal force that many are like ice cubes floating on the waters of enlightenment. The process of heating up is waking up, melting. When ones inward sun lights up in their medicine lodge there becomes a lot of heat in the central spiral, it melts. The middle, there is no death or no birth. Original nature and original self. But it is more dangerous than being in a rattlesnake den because if one fails they could be scattered in fragments which would take forever to be put back together again, or source will burn you up.

I suppose that would depends on whether they found said religion 'fulfilling' or not. I can only imagine what it would be like to feel trapped in it. As a child or tied to a family you love...

Sense8 shows a lot of what I'm been attempting to impart...for years now.

Getting comfortable with 'telepathy' is not for the feint of heart. And takes a lot of getting use to.

The world is not yet set up to allow for it, without causing extreme discomfort.

Tutankhamen-or King Tut. This piece is located at the Cairo Museum Cairo. This is carved out of wood then plastered and painted. Original location of this item was King Tuts Tomb in the Valley of the Kings which was operational for about 500 years from the 16th to the 11th century. It depicts elongation of his skull like his parents Akhenatem and Nefertiti. I have yet to see binding apparatus present in any reliefs. Maybe they did the binding at night like we do with braces and headgear

It clears that feeling of two bubbles pushing and sliding against each other. This causes pressure and pain.

Releasing the pressure when one of the bubbles pops feels blissful.

Releasing the pressure itself is a blessing, but to have pleasure it it's release speaks a bigger plan to me.

Sometimes the implosion is done to facilitate the comfort of another, and not for the self serving act of salvation. But both are acceptable perceptions of euphoric release from bondage.

About what ?

Funny thing:
Milk and Honey as in Agriculture and Gathering/Hunting fits pleasantly even in the Osiris theme :-)
After all, agriculture is related to spreading (in order to gather and further spread) while hunting is related to gathering (in order to spread and gather again)
:-D

So... if the bee gathers... does the cow/bull say "cornucopia" ?

I always think of Osiris in the Underworld. A bit like Hades.

Which speaking of, I watched Hercules for the first time on Friday. Good movie.
 Quoting: Seer777

With Osiris there is a representation of resurrection from the Duat through a mound. It is not a mound per say but a pyramid shape of triangle split in half with the sides sliding apart like a doorway with three levels to them. Black apex, watery blue middle and then white. Below has a picture of Osiris coming out of the doorway with wings like a dawns flight with a rams head. It is called the rising sun god. If you can picture that, it shows an interesting science.

I like the trailer. Looks interesting. "a man with a cause or purpose is stronger than a god" motive topic, lol

The connecting occurrences that move through me, become observed by me out side of the time expressed. In this revolving return of repeated synchronous points of connection, I begin to see my own voice with in the flower of life.

I rove my tower in guard, evicting the false kings and wizards, remembering the peak is the rod in which God speaks in lightning.
