Bodybuilders: I'm AIN'T training to look pretty!
I'm training for a fucking Master's Judo Tournament. This was my AM workout: 1 mile warm up run. Two rounds: 25 push ups, 25 sit ups, 30 sec jump rope sprint, 12 pull ups, 8 dips, 12 KB snatches, and power band throws 12 each side. Cool down 100 flutter kicks and 5 min jog (maybe yog, it could be a soft J).

Now, I'm back to work, and, of course, pissing away time on GLP! Tonight I'm swimming 10x100M with a 400M warm up!

This fuck stick, bodybuilder asshat starts giving me holy hell about "slowing down" and "where's my bench?" I don't do bench press even though my Judo coach of many years loves it, I don't see much benefit.

Fucking overtanned asshat! I don't need your advice, cunt rag. I've got a 54ml/kg VO2Max at 44. I can do 17 dead hang pull ups, and 14 dips. I can row 2K in sub 7:00. I'm not doing this for vanity! I do it for the love of Judo and Jits as well as saying ready for black swans.

You aren't bodybuilding, you are doing cardio. All that will do is burn calories. You aren't building muscle cause you aren't lifting heavy weights.

All I see you saying is "wah wah wah look at me I think I'm better than you!!!"

Stop throwing a tantrum and worrying about what others think of you.

So just do all that stuff at home. I have a stationary bike and weight bench, bands, etc in my garage. The only thing I miss from the gym is the pool and the good rowing machine.

Wow, if people got this upset over real issues America would be number one in education, manufacturing, health, literacy, and rugby.

I find it entertaining to watch people become so disheveled over a minor, and frankly insignificant, rant.

Look into some of the workouts NFL running backs like, Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, and Walter Payton. These guys were beasts, no steroids and workouts are push ups, sit ups, running stairs, they were not gym workout based.

Study your body type to maximize workouts, if you're exothermic you need 2-3 days rests on muscle groups to build mass. If you're endothermic you can work out almost daily and gain mass.

Re: Bodybuilders: I'm AIN'T training to look pretty!
Bravo man. You are doing functional work, for a sport, and achieving natural strength and stamina.

And the beauty of that is, the byproduct of that work is being in great shape and looking athletic.

Bodybuilding has gotten completely out of control. I am totally fine with a person lifting heavy weights and building muscle to look good if that is there goal, but so may guys, and even ladies, now take it to an extreme.

The human body can generally only carry so much muscle, it is a fact of biology. Once a person hits a plateau, it takes a long time to put on even a pound of muscle. So you have these idiots doing roids and HGH and pumping themselves full of crap to get huge.

The result? Early heart failure, sexual impotency, knee and joint issues, no functionality, liver failure, the list goes on.

It is a ridiculous sport. Ask that guy if you see him again, how does it feel to know you will need heart surgery by 50?

These only reason I'm ranting is to let off steam because I go to the gym with headphones, wipe off my equipment, wait my turn, and I try to be polite to others. This asshat interrupted me mid-workout to offer his training "secrets". On a different note, I'm all about functional fitness. I ran sprint triathlons for many years and I've done some powerlifting. I can't say either has kept me as healthy as flexible and functional crossfit, Gym Jones, and Horsemen workouts.

I went to a neighboring high school and ran into Herschel at track meets.

He had the same physique then as in college. Don't think he was doing steroids then

Re: Bodybuilders: I'm AIN'T training to look pretty!
I train to stay healthy. Bodybuilders ain't healthy. If you're consistent and do regular training without the machines and take care off your stamina(most important) You dont need no gym membership, you'll look better then any of them but you have to have right genetics, people tilted to fatness got no chance with this kind of excersise.
