Yeah, I was disappointed when I learned Carroll O'Connor was a liberal. I grew up watching this show and even back then I always felt like Archie was right on most things. The show is loaded with propaganda, but I will always love Archie and Edith.

All in the Family broke down barriers. Like it or not.

I was born in '74 too. I so miss the '90s! It seems like everything turned to crap at some time after 9/11.

I like them all. Law and Order I don’t seek out. I’m getting overexposed to TV violence.

I still watch violent shows, but most of them are on the DVDs, which I binge watch right after they're available.

The 90's sure were great. I graduated high school in '92. Life was a guaranteed success when I went to University and received a smart degree. Growing up in the late 70's and through the 80's was even better. The things we could do back then as kids would have us or our parents or both parties arrested. I have to keep a tight leash on my 11 year old everywhere we go and when I was 11 I could go anywhere at almost anytime in southern CA of all places. My parents just wanted me home by dark. It's sad what this world has turned into.

I think the crap really started in '94, but 9/11 brought on the biggest gov't overstep in any time in this country. It went to complete shit. I still had my girl in 2005 and will never regret it. I just hope she doesn't have to live through a world full of idiots when I pass.

Anyway, back to TV. Again OP, sorry to derail.

Not into reboots unless the bring back the original cast. Reboots usually suck IMO. Also, looks like we woke up at the same time. You must be on Pacific Time.

Only saw that show a few times. I love the Nazca Lines and Egyptian Pyramid hypotheses, but we'll never know.

Fringe is in my top 5, not my top 3 because of some of the repeating story lines. *SPOILERS* It seemed the first season was mostly about the same kind of attack on innocent people and our great Dr. who always saved the show figured it out. I can't remember his name, but what an amazing actor. The kid actor and Anna Torva (hottie) were okay, but the old man's acting killed everyone else. Made them look like beginners. I'm not complaining about that, just the repetition until it got real good at the end of the 2nd season. When season 3 hit, I think I shat my pants, it was so good. And you season 4 haters, you have your opinion but I thought it was an amazing brand new story.

I know a good Zombie/Comedy. Z Nation. Of course SyFy as they call it now will cancel it because it's an amazing show and kicks TWD in the backside. If you haven't seen it, you have to. Zombie Comedy killing at its finest.

Sci-fi comedy I'll have to think about. I've seen so many sci-fi shows over the years I'm sure I'll remember or I'll call my sci-fi friend that knows everything about the subject and he'll lead me to something good or just something I forgot.

don't get me wrong I liked the change but I felt like they jumped into a little more quickly that I would have liked..but still good... I just wish they would have kept going.. because they could play on the multiverse theory and find that theres other universes which present more problems.. and so on..

I'm just selfish and never want it to end lol

I'll have to check out Z Nation... since we're on to zombies have you seen the i-zombie show?? its a little chick flicky but i like it!.. also helps the main character zombie chick is a total fox!

I don't think i've had the pleasure of experiencing a reboot yet.. But i look forward to it! even if it isn't the same but is still good i'd be happy..

I'm on CST.. in the Houston, TX area... I'm getting ready to start school full time and a new job so getting my circadian rhythm where I want it!.. school starts around noon.. classes till around 5 or 7 most days.. then work from about 8 to 1am...

all my free time will be spent at a desk studying for my Physics & Mathematics major. and GLPn when i need a break lol

I feel your pain! When I was a kid, there were no car booster seats for older children. Only disabled bikers wore helmets. No one called CPS or the police if you played in your yard or on the street. We organized our own games and sports. We roamed the malls and the stores by ourselves. There wasn't a boogeyman in every corner and under every bed. We weren't treated like convicts or prisoners at airports. We didn't harm ourselves if we were teased.

Back to the topic, the '90s were a great decade for TV shows, probably the last great one. My top ten sitcoms, of the '90s, are Frasier, Seinfeld, Friends, Wings, Mad About You, News Radio, Just Shoot Me, Murphy Brown (overlap from the '80s), Coach, and Roseanne. Saturday Night Live was better back then too.

Haven't seen I-Zombie. I heard it was a teen show and the thought of it and reviews I've seen are good, but millennial stuff that I'm not interested in. Yeah, I heard the main actress is a hottie, but that does not make a show. I'll give it a try, though since we seem to agree on most shows.

Got a few for you after looking through my collection. Lexx, MST3K, Rick and Morty, and the last I can think of is Red Dwarf. I'm sure there's more to come when I can get a hold of my sci-fi geek friend.

99% of the sentences on that show contain "could it be", "what if", "perhaps" and etc.
