The damn government already went through this refrigerant BS over a decade ago and we had to suffer through crappy AC's while refrigerant was changed over. Now they want to do it again? So we have to spend our money replacing AC units and new fridges again? Sorry Lurch, but most of us don't have money to spend on new appliances.

Since the government removed the phosphates, the horror is now dirty dishes swimming in bacteria.

As far as I know and I am in the air con industry - all refrigerants are heavier than air so they have almost zero effect on climate change as they don't rise in the air! Unless, of course, they are high altitude chem. spraying the stuff around!

In the future I bet appliance networks will run across some centrally controlled system and who ever controls it could remotely pulse your ass into terminal illness.
