No not this. She acts this way because it's fashionable and you let her. Women today ( thanks to modern feminism mostly) subscribe to such a mantra because they see it on TV, and want to show they can be dominant. It probly is not acceptable for you to talk to your wife this way, and you don't because you respect her and you don't feel the need to challenge her. I would take these steps.

1. Being a modern woman is ok advise her of this.
2. Treating anyone especially family like this is not. Nor is passive aggressive behavior, taking spouse only vacations, or anything else that teaches your children this behavior. If it happens one more time, that's way too much. She can be a woman of today and still be respectable.
3. She needs to understand that you are the man of the house and she is your partner. You and her share every decision in life possible however, if there is ever an impass and a decision has to be made, you're going to be the one to make it. Coffee being no exception.
4. Play the role of the man, you're probly not or things like this wouldn't happen. I'd put up with this shit for about 2 fucking seconds.

The creeping realization and disillusionment that you wasted many years of life, your youth, most of your income and savings begins to set in. You would talk to friends, but they gave up calling you to hang out with them 12 years ago because your Man groused all the time.

Also, he begins doubling down in the bad treatment department, freaking out completely if I forget to put the Tide detergent back on the shelf, in the middle of the shelf, with the brand name facing outwardly. Slightest perceived or accidental wrongs earn swift retribution. Every few weeks he spends Saturday and part of Sunday yelling and calling me stupid C , worthless, dumb, moron etc.

23 thru 25 - simmering with boiling rage over this POS draining all my accounts for the last many years, and using me.
