All charities keep 95% of the money... it's true. I have read their disclaimers and every single charity keeps 95% to 99% of the money you send them. They claim it's for overhead, travel, expenses and a few other excuses. The only charity that's any good is the Marine Corps Toy's For Tots program. You buy a toy for a kid, wrap it up in Christmas paper and drop it off at the Recruiting Center or sometimes the Marines are at the local mall and you can drop the wrapped toy off there.
