Toronto usually ranks 4 or 5 in all of Canada for most crime and homicides. the worst Canadian cities for crime are usually - Winnipeg Manitoba Saskatoon Saskatchewan Abbotsford BC Vancouver BC Prince George BC Kelowna BC Montreal Quebec all rank higher for crime and homicides per capita then Toronto. Toronto was worse in the 80's but has gotten much better in the past decade or two. there is still crime and homicides in Toronto but not as much as in some other Canadian cities I ALWAYS felt SUPER SAFE walking around Toronto! And I am a gay man! Not tall. Not burly. Not anything! I could have attracted a LOT of problem, BUT NEVER! Walking around 4 in the morning. 5. 6. 7. 8. I have done it all!!! VERY VERY SAFE!!! I miss Toronto way of living. That is for sure! All races. ALl colours. All nationalities. BUT VERY FUCKING COLD! |

World class is a euphimism for commie shithole |

London was the second, seemed to be a serous attitude problem there. Toronto definitely had a pile of crazy shit going on but wasn't as bad as Winnipeg. I did notice in Toronto that there was a decent police presence in the shit neighborhoods, couldn't walk a few blocks without seeing one, in cars and on bikes. |

Quoting: krikin I walked around Toronto (downtown) without A CARE in my life for the 14 years I lived there!! NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM at night! It is a PARADISE!! And I am a gay man who at the time was skinny even! Easy easy prey and NEVER had ONE problem! I went down to the Guvernment by foot, came back - whatever the time - passed under the "passway" (is that a word?), walked all over to younge and bloor NEVER had a problem! Here in Brazil, however, I have not been so lucky! But not that bad either, THOUGH I avoid going out because here is too crazy! I miss Toronto in that sense! And I miss my VERY ACTIVE nightlife! DANGER FREE!!! |
