So, if you are discouraged and saddened by everything you see on earth, think of the sun, accept its laws, be like it, and you will find courage and joy again.

it works better when people treat each other as they would like to be treated themselves. I try and do that myself. What I experience is many people would just as soon walk on top of your dead body if it is inconveniently making them miss a text message.They would not look back if they drive you off a bridge so they can cut ahead. I think the population is too high.Ha ha I mean we are overpopulated not that the population is smoking weed.

I see people on the highway pull out of an exit line to cut in front of 10 ten cars ahead. If that car wont let them in, they just stop all the traffic on the highway so the person has to let them in because of all the honking cars.. I see this happen most every day.It really really annoys me. What kind of behavior is that? If you are in line at a movie, do you get out of line and push in up ahead? People would punch you out. But I see this on the highway everyday. It takes a real oblivious person. A total asshat.

Thats what happens when you dont use at least a good 2ply toilet paper. All these yahoos using 1 ply are a bit discourteous and somewhat on edge.

IMHO people are rude because they are so stressed. The economy, unemployment, money troubles, rising violence, terror threats, fekkin awful political correctness, victim mentality, increasing bizarre and unnatural sex stuff, you name it....the world is going downhill. Sodom and Gomorrah on steroids...

Trick is not to assume you are entitled to the response you want from people. Understand that some people really are struggling with crappy lives.

YOU have to create the conditions for the respect, courtesy and pleasantries you would like from them.

That means YOU have to give respect, courtesy and be pleasant first. Be the leader, be in control of every interaction, exercise your great power to change relationships!

One exercise I do from time to time is to imagine that the person in front of me has just been told that they have a terminal disease or their dog's died or their favourite granma is dying.

Feel your compassion for them, treat them gently and with kindness, don't expect much...but give unfailing respect and pleasantries...

Try it for a day.

I think the temperament of an area varies.

People are rude because we've removed all consequences for being rude. Gone are the days if you mouthed off to someone you might get a black eye. They know nowadays if you even point your index finger at them you can go to jail to battery. Gone are the days when people's reputation was important to advancing their career. Now you just lie and have a lawyer file suit and you get promoted in exchange for dropping the suit. Gone are the days where you did something uncomfortable because it was the right thing to do. Nowadays you have a million new friends on Facebook to replace whichever person you're about to fuck over for personal gain.

It's due to the illusion of having a separate ego. They've forgotten we're all One consciousness dreaming this reality. Or they lack empathy.

All people suck...switch off the tv, stop watching movies and get out into nature. It will take a while but good things will start to happen. If everyone was to do this...the world would start to heal and turn back to love and generosity.
