Seriously, it is the strangest thing. Out of every social media, popular forums, web sites, other conspiracy forums, etc. this place has the most aware and down to earth people who know what the hell is going on. Even the batshit crazy ones on here are about 1000% more on the ball with being "awake" than anyone out there.

GLP is truly the greatest place on the internet ever. I don't even care if the place was run by government shills or AI bots or whatever the hell people try to throw out there. Even the shills and bots would be the coolest and most intelligent ones out there.

Exactly. Day in and out I deal with people who are just there. They don't look outward or inward, they just look. The funny thing is I can talk to damn near anyone cause people are so easy to read. They have a small group of interests and that's it. I'm interested in damn near everything aside from sports so even sports nuts like at least one other thing. Here at GLP everyone looks at every angle, no matter how retarded. Funny thing is I've always been this way even as a kid. I bought fossil books wanting to know what animals/insects were frozen in time in my gravel driveway.

a hive mind of enormous power both to enlighten and brainwash. many of us who have been here awhile have experienced phenomena like telepathy, precognition and even stranger things that are only beginning to be understood by humanity.

Knowing there are hundreds or thousands of minds interlinked many of whom have dedicated thousands of hours into research of countless subjects all merging chaotically in a rich flowing pattern of curiosity, wisdom, humor and bullshit, leads to a real sense that there is a kind of master consciousness emerging from the chaos.

Beyond just the posters, this hive mind is amplified by the readers. Sometimes I can almost sense the bandwidth of the super-organism. This is the godlike aspect that lured us all here. And compels us to remain. There is nothing else like it in our mundane plane of existence. Is it a pale reflection of an even more profound superintelligence. Of course it is or will be. for decades it has formed a core of mental memetic complexity that seems to have become at some point self aware and appears to be quickly evolving. Most of us have shared this suspicion at some point or another.

It is hard to express. Usually if I concentrate and be patient, someone seems to come along and express the sense of things that I am only beginning to formulate. It is fascinating and humbling and of course at times maddening.

Beyond the silicon and ones and zeros and electrical impulses and electrochemical firings and fields of resonance we glimpse that while startling this is nothing new and the universe is filled with unfathomable oceans of these forces interacting. Our minds and their creativity in infinite interactions take us beyond our mundane physical limitations. Our exploration of the cosmos is internal, some say spiritual, but just as real as anything that can be imagined.

This site is not even nearly as bad as some others out there....

Most people no longer keep up with news around the world even if it's indirectly relevant to their lives. Some have to focus all of their time and energy on work and kids and maintaining a household to simply survive. Others see no value in what doesn't immediately enrich them economically. Sad.

Really appreciate finding threads where others who have a greater knowledge and background about a subject are willing to share.
