Quoting: LindaE De Tocqueville used the words "America is great because she is good" in his book Democracy in America in the 1800s. Sorry, I should have added his second sentence to that post. "If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." He understood that it was an equation. And maybe, just maybe that's why Trump is calling for us to Make America Great Again. We can all see how America has slipped in morality, and how we need to turn it around.  |
