The fact that no cause of death has been released is in fact peculiar, especially given the prominence of this person, his death, and the coverage of it. The cause of death and death certificate is public record unless specific legal means are taken to hide this information from the public record. Your medical records while you are alive are protected by law from public view. However, the record of your death is considered public record. This includes the death certificate(which includes a cause of death), autopsy results, etc. I guess that being an ER RN, I am more sensitive to this issue than some of you.
