In fact, the current system almost guarantees a 3rd party would NEVER win UNLESS they got the 270 electoral votes which is impossible for a 3rd party.

All he would do, even if he won a few states, would split the electoral college.

If no candidate receives a majority of Electoral votes, the House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most Electoral votes. Each state delegation has one vote. The Senate would elect the Vice President from the 2 Vice Presidential candidates with the most Electoral votes. Each Senator would cast one vote for Vice President. If the House of Representatives fails to elect a President by Inauguration Day, the Vice-President Elect serves as acting President until the deadlock is resolved in the House.

Just that too. While I may be against everything the two party system is trying to hold on to, I admit I like Trump and I also admit I hate Hillary. If I thought for one second my vote would help Hillary, I wouldn't do it. And if I had to in a state that's a battle ground, I would angrily and sadly cast my vote for Trump. I don't live in a battle ground state, thank God, which allows me not to pick between to evils (which is still evil btw) and make a vote of conscience, that the last 30 years were of no fault of my own. I like that neither Bush was my fault, I like that Clinton wasn't my fault and I certainly love that Obama wasn't my fault. I stand for smaller government, less tax, balanced budgets and the individuals right to do whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't affect another right to do so. Why is that so bad?

I'll tell you what, I'm going to help you out. You have what is called cognitive dissonance. When you're brain is confronted with another belief that may hold more merit than your belief, it releases the same chemicals it would as if in a physical fight. Leads to anger, closed mindedness among other things.
You just said that Gary was placed by the dems to go against Trump and then a second later agreed it was going to help Trump. I tell you this, so that in the future you may recognize it happening and you might make better critical decisions. I can tell you like to sling insults which of course will lead to more insults, which is another sign of CD. Unless of course, you're under 25, then it just may be simply that your frontal lobe hasn't finished growing(assuming your male), so when you find yourself angry, take a breath and remember this. It could save you time, money or even your life.
