Are you sure this is safe? I listened to it with my eyes closed but got quite spooked so I had to quit. I got the impression of the sofa shaking like from an earthquake and my heart started to act up a little causing a sharp chestpain... strange.

Headphones off - everything back to normal. Maybe I'm too sensitive for this stuff?

its safe. Ive ran this thing on loop all night,, but i dont recommend it, you will either wake up feeling like a million $ or feeling really drowsy and spaced out.

All i can say is don't fight it and dont panic, just stay calm and relaxed and focus on your breathing. You will be taken right down to low Delta levels of brainwaves,, which is deep dreamless sleep, not somthing you normaly experience conciously. Ive done this with my eyes open and its very weird.
Best way i can describe it is a numbness, much less awareness of the outside world, and suspended animation.

Another thing is that the more you listen to it, the more effective it actually becomes, as it actually creates links between your left and right hemispheres of your brain. This is highly desireable according to the stuff i read.

too be honest i got spooked the first time i went down to delta, as your brain adjusts to match the frequency, your body adjusts and slows down your pulse and breathing,, but if you try to fight this then its not a nice feeling.
Just relax be calm and let it do its thing. It can do a lot of good.

But anyway, like i said. IT ACTUALLY WORKS, it does somthing.
I cant promise it will make you super human, a genius or de-age you or increase your IQ. I can't promise anything,, its just somthing to experiment with. ive never read about any negetive effects of this technology anywere.

Thanks for the advice 176765. I'll try it with a much lower listening volume next time. I'm more used to shaman drums, maybe I was just taken by surprise by the effectiveness of your binaural beat.

Don't listen to it whilst standing up. And dont what ever you do listen to it whilst operating heavy machinery or DRIVING!!!

8.83 is correct, and it should last a little over 30 mins with a fade out at the end.

If you don't know what you are doing,then stop doing it until you can understand it better.Does anyone here remember OMNI excellent magazine,chock full of info.I remember this interview they did with Dr John Lily he had conducted the same type of experiment using two individual frequencies through headphones into each ear.He was able to achieve altered states.I wish I could share more,but I have long since lost that article.I'll do a search to find out more.I would if I were you be more careful.

OMNI - April 1987 had a great intro to lucid dreaming, with very practicable steps. This article alone started my dreaming way back then.

There was another on astral projection that came out about a year later, however I am not sure the exact date of the issue, but it was also fantastic, and introduced me to astral projection way back then.

Used it last night instead of holosync. I didn't enjoy the background sound as much as holosync but it was very effect. By about the third change I could feel the light in hy head. By the last set I had drifted into a weird state of concious unconciousness. When the mp3 ended I abruptly woke and opened my eys. Now here is the weird part: You know how you look at a bulb or the sun and you see a mark left when you look at something else? Well I opened my eyes and I saw a mark left that looked like an atom molecule. Like the big flowery thing with the protons and neutrons in the middlle? Well I saw it and it stayed for about 5-7 seconds while my eyes readjusted. That has never happned to me before. Also I became more aware or my energy field. I felt a place in my chest where it was like someone was sitting there on me in a psychic vampire kind of way. It was not the tape but something I was aware of but couldn't fix before. This enabled me to remove it. Also I did see some flashes of odd things. Like a women on my right and a couple of sounds. Oh yeah and the first loop was kinda creepy feeling but I decided it was because when we do this, it clears out alot of junk. There may even be a tendiency to get emotional after wards as old junk comes up. After I reallize thats what is was, the rest of the session was comforting and interesting. Just thought I would share with anyone who was curious.
