See you all later, and keep me up todate on any of the effects you noticed,, its very interesting. Quoting: DragonForceyes I will and I hope others will share their experiences too... I look foward to hearing the new beats. It may take many meditation sessions for the brain to settle down with the beats. Thank you, OP! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 165441Is it OK to listen to this at really low volume? Gives me a headache when I turn it up... Thanks OP! This is why I love GLP!! Yeah, I believe binaural beats are meant to be listened to at low volumes. But listen at whatever volume you're most comfortable with. The volume isn't crucial. I'm itching to try to this out later today myself. I've done a ton of hemi-sync as well as my own beats with very inconsistent results. Sounds like the OP's file is producing results. Although, I thought that you were supposed to use theta waves for spiritual purposes? I thought delta waves just made you go to sleep? |

Leopold User ID: 152686 United States 01/04/2007 03:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For those of you having troubles to perceive the beat: two things- 1. You *must* use headphones considering the binaural design of these tracks, and they cannot be too crappy. I found two low-cost alternatives that have the required qualities (also for ordinary music): Sennheiser px-100, and the trusty old Koss PortaPro (or SportaPro or any of its cheaper derivatives using the same driver). These are my personal preferences, I have found nothing that even comes close to this sound quality under $100. 2. NO "3D-mode". Just plain stereo right into the phones. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 156780 United States 01/04/2007 03:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Okay, just tried it. I used a decent pair of headphones, reclined on the sofa in a darkened room. I can't say anything out of the ordinary happened. I didn't see flying lotuses, hear any African tribal rituals or see my dead granny... But I did get incredibly relaxed and felt the inside of my head swaying from side to side (if that makes any sense) I have more experimentation to do with this and I'm sure my brain needs to get trained. |

Keep trying it, but only once a day at the most. |

The file hosting sites seem to work well. 15mb is taking 6 mins for me to upload. The file is 39min 15sec's in length. And encoded in 56kbps 32000hz mp3PRO. So you'll hear everything upto about 16khz. I have a 54MB version at 192kbps 32000hz, which i might put out if you really want it. Havent listend to it yet but it should be damn good. ueses lots of special frequncies and goes right down to 0.5hz for a short while, but also 0.9hz for a good while, which is supposed to induce euphoria. It also has frequncies associated with serotonin increases, so should work as an antidepressent. Good luck. link: [link to www.sharebigfile.com] Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |
