I don't go out much, but in the last week I've seen 3 people driving as though drunk, in the daytime.

One older guy even went over the lane divide - I had to honk. He wasn't on a phone.

I live in a retiree area in Florida - this is not normal.

I forgot about it until I saw this on the Quail's website:

"Driving home after work down the freeway, it appeared that all vehicles in all lanes in front of me were...drunk.

In the same area, they all drifted across the right marker into other lanes.

damned

When I got to that area, it felt as if my mind was zapped, strongly I might add, by what felt as microwaves.

My brain instantly felt numb, swollen, back of my neck hurt...and I felt very strong vertigo and dizziness.

Then I felt like I was going to pass out while driving. I had to physically change my position, straighten up in my seat and practically slap myself to maintain.

The rest of the trip home felt a little better, but I had something like hot flashes just wave through me (I'm not a woman, so can't speak to exactly how those feel). Also strong ringing and "plugged" feeling in my right ear only. When I got home, I explained what happened and was told that she didn't feel right all day as well.."

Others said this, which is maybe related:

"Have a question for you all. Anybody else having trouble thinking? I have been speaking English for many years, but just the last few days my vocabulary is having 'holes'. I am almost 45, we try eating healthy, no fluoride or meds."

Another commentator, Dar, noted "Almost everyone I talk with as in friends, customers, etc have memory problems. Not just elderly but all ages."

Anyone else see any one looking as though they are driving drunk?

my next door neighbor is suspended due to a dui, and continues driving drunk everyday anyway - TONS of folks around here are alcoholics and drive ALL the time drunk, it's enough so I avoid going out at night (rural Josephine County Oregon, we have no cops to speak of, it's like the wild west, although I'm actually not complaining)

Wow. Thank you for reporting.

All the cases I saw were early afternoon.

The story above of EVERYONE driving crazy on the same bit of freeway really got my interest - and what happened to the poster when he got to that bit of the highway.

Sure!

This is a joke, right? Did you really see a cop driving like he was drunk?

ho ho

I mean swerving from left to right to left again, over and over.

People can do this because there is something wrong with their brain - not just alcohol.

Re: How many people 'driving drunk' have you seen lately?
To the latter part of your post, I'm having some speech holes. I'll be talking and then I stop because I completely got lost. Whatever I was about to say gets completely lost. For a few seconds I forgot what I was even talking about. 2 occasions this summer, I had to stop driving and pull over for a little while because I actually felt stoned or drunk all of a sudden. I didn't drink or do drugs, I didn't even have coffee. I do sales, I can't be like this. Had a couple times this was an issue at work with a sale. I'm not even 30 years old. My mom thinks it's stress. I'm a hypochondriac so my mind jumps to all kinds of possibilities.

As far as drunk driving goes, I dunno, I see it on quite a few occasions. It's summer and that's when I usually notice that stuff. Depending where and when and how bad, I sometimes call and report it.

Interesting connection to explore though
