I liked it. There was a dude called pastor Steve, and he just talked common sense stuff. There was a band too, and although they could have done with someone sitting on the mixing desk dealing with the sound levels,it was OK. Ì won't mention the hot chick on keyboards who sorta looks like Tina Fey.

Overall, would recommend, although if you're creeped out by overly friendly people who appear out of nowhere it may not be for you.

I did get to tell pastor Steve about the YouTube video about it all going back in the box, but he may have been a wee bit distracted at the time

pastor that talks about "stuff", a band, that doesn't sound like a true church at all.

a true church has a preacher on fire for the Lord preaching repentance of sins, fear of hell, etc.....

We had a great service today. Singing praise music, the people really got into it. The sermon was once again focused on how to attain and build a personal relationship with The Lord. Christs prayer for his apostles and their disciples from John was read aloud and affirmed. The devourer is rebuked!

It will take divine support to get through what lies ahead.

Good move OP.

Most Christian preachers can't tell left from right. But seeing as you're such a big fan of talking about hellfire, maybe you should consider the absence of trinity worshippers in the kingdom?

Thread: No trinitarians in the kingdom?

And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father– to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Revelation 1:6

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. King James Version
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Re: I went to church yesterday for the first time in about 35 years
I wasn't on for church on Sunday. I went a few times to a church where they have drums and guitars and a big screen. Pastor Paul is a short guy who wears jeans and a football jersey sometimes. We all wear jeans, get a coffee at the drink counter then go in and sing and listen to the message.

The atmosphere is positive, people are smiling, etc. it's so nice when it's not about judging others or preaching a one and only right way. This church is inclusive of anyone who wants to just come in and marinate in worship. It's so relaxed, there is no pressure etc. The message is to try to live like Jesus did. What can at all be negative about that. As far as I know they don't claim a denomination and simply call themselves Restoratin Church. I don't push my beliefs and neither do they. It's simply just a positive thing to do on Sunday and has helped me immensely just to try to live by the golden rule and be a good person. Why would anyone want to go to a place of negativity over this?

all of that amounts to what Jesus called lukewarm.....neither hot nor cold. and we all know how he felt about that.

Revelation 3:15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

and its shameful that a supposed preacher wears jeans and football jersey to preach the word of GOD.

Recently I decided to make sacrament the most important moment of my week

To be honest it is a hard habit to start because it is a new thought
