BREAKING: Spain shopping centre in lockdown after shooter goes on rampage

A SHOPPING centre in a major Spanish city is in lockdown after a gunman went on a shooting rampage.

Reports said a man had shot his ex-wife before turning the gun on himself in the central Spanish city of Zaragoza.

Two people were seriously injured in the attack at the Aragonia shopping centre and were rushed to hospital.

Investigators said the suspect shot his former partner, who was with his adult daughter, in a garage nearby.

He then tried to kill himself, Spanish media said.

Initial reports said the gunman had fled the scene and that the second injured person was another victim.
