Massive riots erupted in Milwaukee after police shot a man dead over a traffic stop.

A patrol officer shot and killed a 23-year-old suspect who tried to flee after a traffic stop, officials said.
The suspect was allegedly carrying a stolen handgun loaded with 23 rounds of ammo when police pulled him over for unspecified ‘suspicious activity’.

Just hours later, the violence escalated when a crowd of hundreds of people gathered in the predominantly African-American area of the Wisconsin city’s north side, where the shooting occurred.
