"We Could Reach In Our Lifetime" Earth-Like Planet Discovered {4.25 Light Years Away}
At 4.25 Light Years away, Proxima Centauri — a red dwarf, hosts a planet in the goldilocks zone making it possible that the planet has liquid water on the surface.

"“We were moving at the technically feasible limit of measurement.”

If the findings are correct, Russian billionaire Yuri Milner’s search for intelligent life could focus on heading to the planet.

As part of Milner’s plans, Project Starshot intends to send a laser-sail driven-nanocraft to Alpha Centauri — the closest star system to the Solar System — in the coming years.

With the craft able to travel up to 20 per cent of the speed of light, if Project Starshot was to rethink its objective, it would be able to reach the Earth-like planet orbiting Proxima Centauri in less than 20 years."

The significance of this finding is that we could all see (at least those who live another 20-25 years) life on another planet if we were to send probes. This is the closest star to our host star and it has an Earth-like planet.

The uncommon measure of a man is what he is willing to give up to elevate the next man.

If the world succumbs to this religious mentality espoused by Islam, then the profound impact on future generations as regards the advancement of future civilizations hopes of attaining this goal, will be severely impeded.
Where would we all be by now but for the actions and never ending tirades shouted by the likes of those who adhere to a truly barbaric and medieval mindset?
I guess we would all be voyaging to the stars by now.

They Breakthrough Starshot team has some heavy hitters, including physicist Stephen Hawking and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg. It proposes to use the $100 million to learn whether it’s possible to use a 100-gigawatt light beam and light sails to propel some 1,000 ultra-lightweight nanocraft to 20 percent of light speed. If it’s shown to be possible, such a mission could (hypothetically) reach Alpha Centauri within about 20 years of its launch.

Never happen. The combined lasers could be used as a weapon.

Not withstanding they still have a long way to go to even make it feasible in 20-30 years.

Kum bay ya, my Lord, kum bay ya.
