Who was Jesus Christ to the Gnostics?
I've been studying Gnosticism for the last few months and I am confused on who or what Jesus Christ represented to the different Gnostic communities? Some say he was an aspect or Aeon of God's spirit but not the Son of God others say he was an Archon or righteous ruler. Please advise.
