I'm used to my shitty fucking life. So used to it that whenever someone outside of my family does anything nice for me I am always flabbergasted and don't know what else to say other than "Thank you!" repeatedly in a really surprised high pitched tone of voice. It's exceptionally rare to meet anyone like that though. Earlier this year, I forgot when, but some random Christian guy came up to me at our local QT parking lot. He gave me a little card like thing and told me that he wanted to buy me a coffee. I don't drink coffees, but I really really stunned and happy that someone was actually nice enough to not try to kick my ass for simply existing. I told him "Thank you!" at least five times before and as he walked away from me. The card thingie had a $5 bill in it. There was a strip of paper that had some Christian Scripture on it. I tossed that away in to the trash. He told me that he wanted to spread some good in the world alongside his congregation before he left too.
