Feeling very eerie like something is gonna happen soon

I slept poorly too and I am in a highly emotional state today, on the verge of tears.

I'm not emotional, but the lack of sleep is piling up and is a concern for me!

I'm also an empath, I believe. I'm with you all on the exhaustion--I've been having disrupted sleep for DAYS, but finally slept through the night last night. Even when I get enough sleep, though, I may feel okay for a few hours, but then I'm just DONE for the day. Glad the days are getting shorter so I can go to bed earlier.

Have also felt highly emotional--that "swelling" felling inside like you just want to cry, but are not sure why (if that makes any sense). It's like a need to release this "icky", eerie energy, as the thread title so aptly calls it.

Been waking up with my heart beating very fast, like something is about to go down any minute. I try to use my intuition to see or feel the future, I just can't. I hit a brick wall everytime. My time has been up for a long time. I sense that I'm here to witness an event of my lifetime and just die. That's comforting for me. I don't give a shyt about anything anymore except the love I have for my family, everything else is an illusion.

I'm tired of waiting...

You just put into words exactly what I was feeling and couldn't find a way to say it. It feels like everything is just filling up inside me and my eyes are holding back tears. Like I need to just lay down and sob for a few hours, sleep a few days and regroup

I think things are happening at a rapid pace all over the world right now and we are just feeling the ripple effects of what is coming. I don't know if it is imminent or if it will be a cascading series of events, but I do know something has disrupted all of us, so it has to be important.

Exactly. I don't know if it is spiritual or physical, but it is real!

Thanks, bigD111. I don't say much to folks about off of GLP, just close family and friends, as they know something does happen shortly after I start to feel this way. I just want to go home, I feel that hubby and I would be ok there than here. Stay safe and stay alert. These feelings, in my opinion, are a gift from above, meant to keep us and loved ones safe and out of harm's way.

This gives me chills... it IS real. So hard to explain to there that aren't "tuned in" in the same way we are, though.
So few seem to "get it" whatever "it" may be.

I would follow your feelings/intuition, or whatever you want to call it! It is strange though. We are all in different parts of the USA, but we are all feeling the same things. Very ominous!

The spiritual (astral) plane is merging with our reality. More is happening in less time and it will increase as we tune into the collective consciousness. It feels like I'm dying and being reborn every second.

I am predicting that it has to do with the upcoming presidential election on November 8th. There will be an upset and people will not be happy with the outcome.

If you live in a poor neighborhood where people may be prone to rioting you should move away from that neighborhood to a safer one as soon as possible, before November 8th.

I feel like there will be riots.

And you have done the same many times for me, Littlelamb! Like this thread, it can take a collective effort of like minds and hearts to help us sort these feelings out and validate our exxperiences! Being empathic is an "interesting" way to experience this world. Not easy. Especially when few truly understand what the heck you're talking about!

It is definitely both. We're feeling it harder because we listen to it and can't or won't shut it off (I can't, I have tried for years, even talked to several clergymen to try and stop these feelings).

We're feeling a frightening physical event that's going to affect us all, hence why all of us are feeling it around the USA and the world. Whatever it is, it's big and intense!

Quick story - about a half of an hour ago, I was talking to one of the hotel staff outside about swimming, when suddenly she started to shudder, like she was cold. I asked her if she was OK, and she said"you'll probably think I am nuts, but I just got a bad feeling and I can't understand why." I just smiled and told her that I understood, and we parted ways, both nervous.

Perhaps everyone is feeling the emotional effects of what is going on in Italy? The number of deaths are increasing.

Yes, trust you're I tuition and get home safely as soon as you can! I get ominous feelings about certain areas, no matter where I'm living or visiting, as well. Like I just shouldn't be there, for whatever reason. I think we, as empaths, pick up on energies, for lack of a better term, that others don't.

Thanks to you as well bigD111! Like your name, ive been seeing 1's a lot more frequently again too! Those 11 threads are always interesting ones--again, another phenomenon that many of us "like minds" seem to share.

As to being in different parts of the US, where, generally are we located? I'm in the central plains at the moment.

I definitely felt that yesterday. Very intense and flu like feelings. All I did was pray for them and I slept a lot, i was so exhausted.

Today, though, not only is the intense feeling back, but now I have ringing in my ears and light headedness, which means that something similar is about to happen closer to home or closer to one of my loved ones. That's the only time the ringing in the ears and light headedness happens to me, is when it involves myself or someone close to me. I must confess, I am truly nervous. When I start feeling this way, the event occurs anywhere from minutes to 48 hours. Until it happens, these feelings keep on coming, getting more and more intense as the event gets closer.

Exactly how I feel Scarlett! Whatever it is, it is intensifying in a way that it has not done in the past (or in a different way, for me--hard to explain)!

BTW, I don't think you were meant to go swimming!!

I am having the ear ringing as well. Also, it is very warm here (NC) and I randomly get chills, my best friend at work just asked me what was wrong when she saw the chill bumps on my arms. She always knows when she sees me like this what is going on.

For me, these horrible events definitely "add to" these feelings, but it is "something else" I'm feeling as well, and unfortunately (not to minimize italy's tragedy or those suffering) it's even "worse"-- more global in scale, perhaps.

Agree. The intensity is too strong. I hate this. I need to either go swimming or go for a walk. My nerves are rattled beyond words!

If anyone who's having eerie feelings has never shown any precognitive skills in the past or has a long track record of sensing something was about to happen even though nothing ever did happen, then all the emotions that person is experiencing are merely due to riffing off the daily news and tuning into sheeple-type of unhappiness and nervousness.

Not exciting, but it's as plain and boring as that.
