Obama starting to realize he's been played ?

Obama was a complete political noob. No connections, no powerful friends, no political experience. Let's face it, one year as a senator with no senatorial action then straight into the top job.

In order to rein in the Clinton attack dogs there is a widely reported deal done where Hillary dropped out and waited till next time, and in return was given the job as SoS.

Obama surrounded himself with sycophants. After all, he was the smartest man in the world, clearly demonstrated by popular acclimation. As a sign of his omnipotence he embarked on a world tour dispensing his incredibly intelligent view on global matters that would clearly result in world peace and a glorious legacy. Why, he was even awarded the Noble Peace Prize, clearly demonstrating his incredible wisdom and talents for easily sorting the problems of the world.

Eventually he became frustrated with the intellectual
shortcomings of those he had to deal with on a daily basis. They just weren't smart enough to see he had all the answers, and his way was clearly the right way. It became so frustrating he issued his "Pen and a Phone" statement. simply stating that the fools around him were failing to realising just how fantastically wise and intelligent he was. After all, he was voted leader of the most powerful nation on earth, so it just stood to reason he was so much smarter than the rest. Removing any daring to suggest otherwise and replacing them with much smarter people (who acknowledged his superiority in all things) helped a lot.

Unfortunately his wisdom did not extend to a knowledge of the Clinton machine. Keeping a low profile as always, it quietly continued as usual. Collecting dirt, currying favours, garnering allies. No high-profile golf games, no widely publicised vacations, just quietly burrowing away unnoticed by the unaware.

How sad to discover at this late stage the shortcuts, deceptions, broken agreements dirty dealings and tricky maneuverings that have been going on. The On-Plane conversation (The one with Cameras, reporters, even secret service witnesses barred) would have been most interesting. it would be pure speculation to suggest it was an insight to the total chaos that would ensue should anyone even whisper "Prosecution", but maybe I have a nasty mind.


Perhaps the great and wise one is now learning there's more to this game of thrones than a popularity poll on twitter, a few YouTube guest spots and late night comedy shows. "#save our girls" was as effective as a set of climbing spikes on a pair of flip-flops, and "Healthy Food Choices" for school children do not become more appetizing because a popular princess waved her magic wand.


The academic wisdom of free cell phones and food stamps does nothing to reduce poverty, establishing an ideologically sound Universal Health Plan still requires some knowledge of economics, management skills, organisational discipline and (not so) common sense. Unfortunately all these seem to be missing lacking in the most incredibly wise and intellectually superior winner of the popularity poll.

How sad, The wheels are falling off, the chickens heading home and guess whose left holding the bag's bag.

Looks to me like a shortage in the emperor's wardrobe department.
